REFRESH. Defined as “to restore strength; to provide new vigor; to revive.” Every year, we gather together for a series of revival services for that very purpose–to be refreshed. To worship the Lord. To be reminded of his goodness. To focus on his call for our lives. To be renewed in our service to him.

Sunday AM – Thomas Hammond – WATCH ON-DEMAND
Thomas is the Executive Director of the Georgia Baptist Mission Board, our state denominational entity, having served in that role since 2018. Thomas has a passion for evangelism and seeing Georgia reached with the good news of Christ. He and his wife Kerri reside in Buford, Ga.
Sunday PM – David Williams – WATCH ON-DEMAND
David is the Campus Minister for the Valdosta State University Baptist Collegiate Ministry in Valdosta, Ga. Every day, David focuses on how to reach the next generation with the gospel. Prior to being called to Valdosta, David served as the Pastor at Iron City Baptist Church. David and his wife, Jennifer, have two boys.
Monday PM – Bill Barber – WATCH ON-DEMAND
Bill is the Pastor at Concordia Baptist Church, just south of the Georgia line near Havana, Fl. Prior to moving back home to Florida, Bill served as the Pastor at First Baptist Church Thomaston, Ga. for 20 years. During his time at FBC Thomaston, Bill was influential in helping our own Pastor Matt get started in ministry. In addition to pastoring, Bill also works as a high school football referee.
Tuesday PM – Tim Oliver – WATCH ON-DEMAND
Tim is the Pastor of Lakeside Baptist Church in Milledgeville, Ga., having served there for the last 20 years. Tim is also a respected leader in Georgia Baptist life, serving as the Chairman of the Administration Committee of the Georgia Baptist Convention.
Wednesday PM – Ron Shiver – WATCH ON-DEMAND
Ron is the Pastor at Funston Baptist Church. One of the longest-tenured pastors in our association, Ron has served at Funston since 1994. He has a strong legacy of biblical preaching and faithful ministry here in our community.
